OK I’m going to stick my geeky little neck out here – and say that the operation of the Elektro Mess Technik 950 broadcast turntable is the nearest to perfection of any piece of professional equipment I ever have or ever will have the privilege of operating:- The weighty yet slick glide of the chunky notched rotary fader, the pretty little cueing lights, the satisfying clunk and comforting guide surround of the cool square play button, and not forgetting the wonderful ‘Groove Indication’ percentage-ometer….sniff!
